Free world · to relax

Thunderstorm sounds with rain.

Heavy rain on a treehouse roof, thunder rolling through the valley and canyon wind. Not a video: a place made of layers, each with its own volume.

Shelter in the Storm blends three kinds of rain, thunder as a separate sound, canyon and desert wind, cave drips and a distant waterfall, with an ethereal track on top. In the app you can set the volume of every layer.

Press listen: each sound comes in, fades out and changes volume on its own, just like in the app. Here the panel only shows it; in the app, each row is a volume control.

Rain and thunder for sleep, without the jump scares.

The thunder in Shelter in the Storm isn't a random crash in the middle of the rain. It is a layer of its own that comes and goes in cycles of just over a minute and changes distance while it's there, sometimes close, sometimes rolling far off through the valley. The rain underneath never stops: three different recordings (heavy, medium and relaxing) blend together, each rising and falling on its own time.

An ethereal track sits on top, and in the background cave drips and a waterfall drift in and out in long cycles. If you prefer the storm without music, you can turn the track down in the app and keep just the rain and the thunder.

Fully free. This world opens complete on the free plan, with every sound, and you can set the volume of each layer. Swapping sounds and saving your own version is Premium.
